Well, it took a while. The second part of the two-part project is finally done (and actually was finished a month ago – it just took me a while to get this post written). Click the link below to see all of the pictures.

The First Phase

Initially, the goal was to build a single full-length bookcase on the wall in the office (also Lauren’s room). This process took me several month’s of trial and error to get it just right.

The Second Phase

The timeline for the second phase was a bit shorter. Claude and Laurie came down to visit – and Claude and I (by that I mean Claude) completed the second phase in one weekend. The goal of the second phase was to build a desk, two file cabinets, and a bookcase that is above the desk. Here are some pictures of the process:
