Well, all good things must come to an end. This is the last of our flurry of videos for the week. We have extracted all of the good video that we have already filmed, so we need to go film some more. This video (just like the first one this week) is of Kaden having some talking time with Mommy.

I know this is quite a claim – but, this might be one of the cutest videos yet. Kaden and Keegan were hanging out in the crib together while talking with Mommy. It seems to be rare lately to have both boys happy and chatty. Hope you enjoy!

Shannon did an awesome job of going back through the video we have shot over the last month and getting some great highlights. We will have two more videos this week (besides this one).

Today’s selection shows Keegan enjoying some time with Mommy by the fire. He is talkative as usual (eventually we will have videos of them doing something other than talking – but it’s just so cute!). We hope you enjoy!

Video From February 8, 2009

This week we had another chance to get some professional pictures taken. Lauren got to go with us – and was a huge help. The boys were so much bigger than last time, and they did very well. It will take a few weeks, but once the pictures are up to order – we will let you guys know.

Well, it has been a while since we posted a video. The good news is that we actually got a bit of spare time tonight, and we imported roughly 45 minutes of video into the computer. We took a bit of time after we put the kids to bed to use the footage we shot today of Kaden being extra talkative (something usually observed with Keegan). We hope you love this video, and we will be putting a few new ones out this week.

Well, I know that there were many of you that thought this day would never come. After round-the-clock diplomatic negotiations, Shannon has agreed to have some pictures of her with the babies posted here on the blog. As always, she is very cute while holding our two bundles of joy.

Over the last week, we had a chance to compile some additional video of Kaden and Keegan showing off their conversational skills again. They are so cute with their ‘coos’ and their ‘gees’. They talk even more in this than the did in the last video.

We had a lot of fun coaxing the boys into performing for the camera. Kaden is not as big of a fan of the camera as his brother, but he still shows off some of his facial expressions for you. Lauren did a great job getting some of these moments on camera. Keegan starts off the video with some really cute ‘talking’, and Kaden goes next. The boys are developing well and doing things (like rolling over and holding their heads up) earlier than most babies, and it is so awesome to see them as they grow and develop!

NOTE: The beginning of the video shows some splotches across Keegan’s face – that is just because of the video encoding and will go away a few seconds into the video.

A lot has happened since the boys came home on November 26th. We have been a bit slow to write, but that is only because we try to get sleep whenever possible (so things like blogging and eating have become secondary tasks ). It has certainly been an adventure trying to figure out how to keep to newborns fed, changed, and somewhat content. The fun thing is – just when we think we have something mastered, they change.

One of the interesting and fun tasks we get to do is bath time. Since the boys still have their umbilical cords, we have to do a sponge bath. Needless to say, the boys aren’t too fond of bath time (as the picture to the right will testify).

I have attached a slide show of some bath highlights. The pictures of Kaden are from his very first bath. However, for some reason we forgot to take pictures of Keegan’s first bath (probably had something to do with a lack of sleep). The pictures of Keegan were from last week. We hope you enjoy!

Today has been amazing and exhausting! Just yesterday we brought home Kaden and Keegan from the hospital. You will want to hang on to the end of this entry to see the pics and videos of Kaden and Keegan!

I want to give a huge thanks to everyone who helped Shannon out last night (Brook and Lauren who assisted with the feeding – as well as Will and John who helped with the baby logistics during the night). This was SO helpful!!! It gave me a chance to get some rest, so that I could do a bunch of cooking today for Thanksgiving.
