Christmas Eve at Nanny and Pop Pop’s went very well. As usual we had a great meal, fun hanging out, and great gifts. We took a few photos, but not as many as last year. You can see them below.
I know many of you were asking what we wanted for Christmas – here are a few things.
Shannon’s List
David’s List
It’s certainly beginning to look a lot like Christmas here in Savannah. Home Depot started putting their Christmas decorations out in October. However, we waited until the post-Thanksgiving time (as usual). We will be taking more pictures as the holiday progresses. Love you guys!

Thanksgiving went well, and we loved spending time with Shannon’s family. Shannon’s cooking was amazing (as usual). We only had a few pictures.
It has been a long arduous journey, but I finally completed the first bookshelf. There will eventually be another bookshelf and a desk. I will write more in the future about the long journey (which includes quite a few setbacks).

I know that all of you are eargerly following MTSU’s season (lol). However, it has turned out to be pretty interesting. Despite losing 4 of their first 5, MTSU has put a series of wins together, and they actually have a chance to win the SunBelt if they can win the rest of their games.
The last game will be against Troy (currently undefeated in the Sun Belt). If they can win that game, they will be up on Troy because of the head-to-head game. This would give the Blue Raiders an automatic bid to the New Orleans bowl. MTSU’s offense really isn’t in question. Can the defense hold up?
I know that we emailed several of you to let you know about the Adobe article that I got published. If you haven’t seen it – it is here. This has become a huge blessing. I have received quite a bit of recognition from the article as well as some of the work on my professional blog. One of the amazing things is the world-wide audience that has been viewing my blog.

It will be awesome to see what God’s plan is with all of this.
Nala requires constant attention (I am sure that is has nothing to do with the fact that we have spoiled our cute dog). We just spent an hour playing with her, but she is still whining that she wants to play even more.
I know it seems that we only write about Nala, so next time we will write about something elseā¦I promise.

Nala is getting ready for her first Halloween. She decided that she would look best as a witch, although mommy was very tempted to go with the princess costume. Nala is super excited about meeting all of the children that get bussed into our subdivision on October 31st. Check her out below!
